How they met

Gabriel Kuhn and Daniel Patry met in 2012 at a conference. They recognized that they shared the same vision for creating a more fair, just, and sustainable world. They found they had complementary skillsets and decided to join forces on this mission. One of their first projects was founding the Center for Workplace Democracy . The center's work is based on research from sociologist Richard Sennett’s book Conscious Capitalism.

The goal is to create an economic system that can adapt to society’s changing needs over time.

What they have in common

Both Gabriel Kuhn and Daniel Patry are dedicated to supporting the global movement for a fair share of the world's resources. The partnership has been mutually beneficial, with each activist bringing different strengths to their collaboration. For example, while they share an interest in promoting economic justice, they have different approaches: while Mr. Kuhn focuses on global policy issues, Mr. Patry is more interested in grassroots activism. As a result of this complementary approach, both activists have been able to accomplish more than they could have alone.
